Each telephone subscriber has the right to privacy. Therefore, he or she can ask you, as his or her telecommunications provider, to mask his or her telephone number(s) on invoice specifications. This hides the number on the specifications, including on the specifications other customers receive from their providers.

How does it work?

This legal obligation to mask numbers applies to the provider of the subscriber as well as to all other providers who provide itemised invoices or other specifications. The Number Masking service makes the process easy for you. All you need to do is provide COIN with the numbers to be masked. We will manage and facilitate the exchange via a central platform, so all connected telecommunications providers know which numbers should be masked. This allows them and yourself to comply with this number masking obligation!
